Welcome to Greenwich Field Hockey Club
Based in New York City, we are the biggest adult Field Hockey Club in the United States. With more than one hundred active members, our players come from all over the world creating a community that doesn’t simply talk about our values of compassion, authenticity, and inclusion, but rather we live and practice them daily.
Founded in the 1950s, the club has been the go-to hub for anyone looking to play competitive Field Hockey, with currently four successful teams competing in the North East Field Hockey League (NEFHA), as well as fun, not-so-competitive pick-up games in the heart of NYC, where everyone is welcome to socialize, network, and party with us.
Rovers
The Rovers are one of GFHC’s ladies’ team, with players who have competed in high-level hockey throughout their careers.
Ramblers
The Ramblers team is a diverse group of women based across New York City, NJ, and Long Island. Our team is proud to be a melting pot of players from across the country and around the world.

The Greenwich Men’s 1s are the most successful team in the history of NEFHA.

Greenwich 2’s embodies a well-rounded approach that emphasizes both competitiveness and camaraderie.
Events
Our strength on the playing field is certainly matched by our strength off the field! We have an active calendar throughout the year where we both host and attend social events.

Greenwich arranges a number of hockey tours throughout the year.
